Allens runs summer clerkships in its Melbourne office for penultimate year law students. The office holds two summer clerkships each year. Each runs for three weeks in one practice group. Applications open in early July and close in August under the LIV guidelines. Offers are made in mid October. Allens says application dates follow law society guidelines but does not publish exact dates. Applications for the 2026/27 program have closed in all offices.
