Allens runs a winter clerkship in its Brisbane office for penultimate year law students. The program runs for four weeks in one practice group. Applications open in mid July and close in early August under the Queensland guidelines. Offers are made in early October. Allens says application dates follow law society guidelines but does not publish exact dates. Applications for the 2026/27 program have closed in all offices.
