Lavan runs a clerkship program in Perth with two semester intakes each year. Clerks do casual work two to three days a week during semester. Penultimate and final year law students are eligible, and students in earlier years may also apply. Final year students have priority for one intake and penultimate students for the other. Applications for the next intake open on 16 November 2026 and close on 18 December 2026. The next intake starts in March 2027. Applications are made by email to the firm's people and culture team.
