Crown Solicitor's Office (NSW)

The Crown Solicitor's Office is the New South Wales Government's legal practice. Its vacancies are advertised through the Department of Communities and Justice jobs site. CSO runs a two-year graduate development program for newly admitted lawyers. Graduates rotate through different legal practice groups. Each graduate has a graduate buddy for the first year. Training covers litigation, advice writing and transactional work. CSO also employs law students as paralegals while they finish their degrees. Many of those paralegals later apply for the graduate program. CSO states that graduate applications open in May 2027. Its students and graduates page lists no summer or winter clerkship.
