Registration opens for Silver Jubilee Commonwealth Law Conference in Darwin

What conversations will shape the future of the Commonwealth legal profession? Be in the room where they happen... As we celebrate the Silver Jubilee edition of the Commonwealth's premier legal gathering, lawyers, judges, senior justice leaders, policymakers, academics and business leaders from across the Commonwealth will come together for five days of thought leadership, collaboration and global networking.

Registration is now open for the 25th Commonwealth Law Conference, to be held in Darwin, Australia, from 9–13 May 2027. Organised by the Commonwealth Lawyers Association, the five-day gathering marks the Silver Jubilee edition of the Commonwealth's flagship legal conference, bringing together lawyers, judges, senior justice leaders, policymakers, academics and business leaders from across member nations. The official conference website is now live with registration, programme updates, speaker announcements, accommodation options and destination information. Super Early Bird registration closes 7 September 2026, with CLA members receiving additional discounts; a limited number of conference bursaries are also available, with applications closing 15 September 2026. The CLA says every registration will support the Remote Laundries Project, a 100% Aboriginal-owned initiative improving health, education and wellbeing in remote First Nations communities in the Northern Territory.
