Lonsdale Chambers, at Level 29, 140 William Street, Melbourne, was established in 2006 by The Hon. Michael Sifris KC as one of the first private barristers' chambers in Melbourne. It comprises 31 members practising commercial law, including insolvency and bankruptcy, banking and finance, corporations, property, contract and equity, as well as taxation, wills and estates, and alternative dispute resolution (several members are accredited mediators/arbitrators). The chambers blends senior and junior barristers in a collegial, collaborative environment.
