Family Advocacy and Support Service

The Family Advocacy and Support Service (FASS) is a government-funded program providing integrated legal and social support — duty lawyer services plus family violence and mental health support workers — for people involved in family law proceedings affected by family violence (whether as a person experiencing, using, or alleged to have used it). It is delivered through state and territory Legal Aid Commissions at Family Law Registry locations and circuit court sittings around Australia.
